Watersketch - Strategies for a Sustainable River Basin Managment

WATERSKETCH is being realised between 2004-2007.

The main aims of the project are:

To find the main directives and conventions related to the use of river basins as well to river basin management.

To express these demands expressed in land use planning on a regional level in relation to the development of the river basin plans according to the WFD

To find the most common problems in the river basins of the Baltic Sea Region

To find common tools to be utilised in river basin management

To find a way to disseminate information on a sustainable river basin planning
