CABRI-VOLGA - Policy recommendations & actions for the Volga Basin
CABRI-Volga policy recommendations are the result of a thorough consultation process on environmental risk management and institutional coordination in Russias Volga Basin. Experts from Russia, the European Union, America and Asia have sought solutions and formulated recommendations in the following areas of concern for the Volga Basin and its citizens:
- Water quality, including drinking water, sanitation and public health, biodiversity and natural habitats;
- Water-related risk management and vulnerability of the Volga Basin;
- Use of water resources in a sustainable manner;
- Economic development and sustainable transport in the Volga Basin;
- Institutional cooperation and stakeholder
