CLIME - Modelling the physical dynamics of lakes and the growth of phytoplankton

If the climate changes as projected, there will be impacts on the physical processes that influence the dynamics of lakes, for example the timing of ice break-up and their thermal characteristics. These effects may, in turn, impact on the chemistry and biology of lakes.
A linked series of physical and biological models will be used for quantification of these impacts.
