AQUAMONEY - Diagnosis of water quality and ecological status in the Neajlov catchment, Romania

This section analyses the surface water quality for the river sectors in Neajlov catchment for a period of 1994 to 2002. The monitored indicators show large differences between the main rivers in the catchment in what concern water quality. The river sections where it was not achieve a good status are located in the proximity of point emission sources (Suseni, Moara din Groapa, Roata) or downstream Neajlov River and reflect the contribution of both point and diffuse sources (Vadu Lat, Calugareni).
