
NeWater - Curriculum on Adaptive Water Management
A curriculum in adaptive water management is available for teaching at universities at the Master's and PhD levels. The teaching materials were published as downloadable modules on the internet for interested instructors of Environmental and Resources Management, Hydrology, Public Policy and other fields that may include studies in water resources management. The broader learning goals of this curriculum are to teach students about (1) water issues in the context of global change (2) adaptive management concepts (3) Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), (4) the role of adaptive management in IWRM, (5) making the transition to adaptive water management.
