SAFECOAST - Coastal flood risk and trends for the future in the North Sea region

This weblink provides access to the downloadable deliverables of the project SAFECOAST. In this project the following was pursued:

# Utilise tools like scenario analysis(climate change and future land use)

# Search for best practices in risk assessment (flood and erosion risk assessments)

# Identify promising approaches (looking ‘outside the box’ for measures to prevent or cope with coastal flooding and erosion)

# Informing our societies about the challenges related to managing coastal flood and erosion risks)

Recommendations were drafted towards different audiences: Policy and management, as well as the Research communities.
