The specific focus of ACTIF was to actively consolidate and disseminate research advances in Flood Forecasting through the preparation of guidelines on: # best European practices in three aspects of flood forecasting technology; # access to high quality, site specific, data for further research and analysis. ACTIF was to form a bridge between academic researchers, applied researchers, public authorities and industry in the area of hydro-meteorological risks.
