HarmoniRIB - 8.2 Uncertainty aspects of phosphorus background concentration

An uncertainty analysis has been carried out for the variation of the mean phosphorus background concentration in the Regge catchment. In this analysis, the concentration as well as the uncertainty in the concentration are assumed constant throughout the catchment and in time. Point measurement concentration data have been aggregated to a mean concentration on catchment scale. Statistical analysis of the mean concentration resulted in a normal distribution, having a mean of 0.00016 kg/ m³ and a standard deviation of 0.000011 kg/ m³.
