Description of the Sebou basin (Morocco) following the WFD Article 5 -7. Water bodies in the Sebou Basin, Morocco -
- 7.1 Inventory, coding and delineation of water bodies in the Sebou basin, Morocco
The criteria and the coding of the delineation are presented. Each section or surface water body was assigned a number or hydrographical code. Numbers go from 1 to 28 as shown in the annexed table (main report) and from 60 to 65 for 'wadis' and the artificial drainage canals of the Gharb plain. As a result, the tributaries of each 'wadi' have a code as well as numbers in sequence from upstream to downstream. Main tributaries are also allocated numbers, which are different to those given to minor tributaries. The inventory of the water bodies is given in full in annex 6 but the tables presents the quantity and the length of the wadis. The map of the waterbodies is given in annex 7. Water bodies with more then 5 l/s are given in Annex 8. A figure presents the rivers which receives the waste water of the major cities.
