Major draft river water bodies and their type as defined by catchment geology and mid point slope are given. The major draft lake water bodies and their type are illustrated for each RBD.The delimitation and identification of individual Water Bodies in the Transitional Waters and Coastal Waters of the republic of Ireland has followed closely the guidance developed by COAST (CIS Working group 2.4).
