Some of the JÃºcar RBD drought periods may reach, in some cases, 10 years. A characteristic type of flood in the Mediterranean regions, and specifically in the JÃºcar RBD, is the so-called flash flood, which is featured by having a quick response to rainfall, what makes it difficult to apply early warning measures to protect the population.
